Ormoline Gilding Medium in a 30ml Glass Jar – This acrylic-based gold size is fluid enough for use with nibs, and great for gilding onto paper or parchment. Here’s some simple steps to use Ormoline Gilding Medium to create illuminated calligraphy and illustration:

• Apply size with either a dip pen or brush in your desired design
• Allow to dry until tacky (5-15 minutes, depending on the humidity in your area)
• Apply gold leaf to the area and cover with glassine, then transfer with a lipstick-shaped burnisher
