The textured paper is formulated to withstand thick, layered paint applications without any priming or preparation. Winsor & Newton designed the Oil and Acrylic paper with the right degree of absorbency while also preventing oil from sinking through the paper. The portable gum-bound pads are popular for sketching outdoors and in the studio. Free from acids and optical brighteners, this paper is archival and resistant to aging.
