Each spiral-bound pad contains twenty-five sheets of 70lb medium or smooth-grain natural white paper. The medium grain cartridge paper has a textural surface, ideal for graphite, colored pencil, pastel, and charcoal. In contrast, the smooth grain cartridge paper has an even surface, suitable for pens, ink, graphite, and colored pencil. The drawing pads lay open perfectly flat and include easy-to-remove micro-perforated sheets. Winsor & Newton has internally and externally sized each paper sheet to ensure long-term stability for repeated working and erasing.
