This book combines instruction in using brush and watercolor for illustrative elements (mostly flowers, fruits, and other plant life) and for pointed brush scripts. Four quality alphabets are presented: a traditional Copperplate script and three versions of Modern Calligraphy, each more informal and bouncy than the previous. All use fine-tipped brushes. While the book is oriented to using an artist’s brush and color, brush markers could be used instead.
