Description
Ultramarine Blue Green Shade, 380 (59ml Tube)
A single pigment rich transparent blue with green undertones. Allegedly named because it was thought ‘bluer than the sea’, ultramarine was originally made from semi-precious lapis lazuli. The current pigment was created by French chemist Guimet in 1828 as a synthetic, but chemically-identical alternative.
This is thick, high viscosity, pigment-rich professional acrylic color, ideal for impasto and texture. With a high concentration of lightfast artist-quality pigment and a satin finish, Heavy Body Acrylic gives you rich, permanent color, with crisp brush strokes and knife marks.
