Da Vinci Transparent Orange Artist Watercolor is a mid-range orange with golden undertones that become even more luminous in dilution. Similar in hue to Cadmium Orange, Da Vinci Transparent Orange is an excellent nontoxic option for a palette secondary color, and its vibrant transparency will easily create smooth, gradient washes and mix a wide range of gorgeous colors.
When mixed with Phthalo Green, Transparent Orange will create gorgeous golds and glowing olive greens. Transparent Orange mixed with Da Vinci Violet morphs into a beautiful assortment of burnt oranges and rich umbers, and this is one of the few colors that will add transparency to highly opaque colors like Titanium White.
