Smooth-On Smooth-Cast is a convenient casting compound consisting of two liquid prepolymers that can be mixed and cured to form a durable plastic. Ideal for casting detailed models, prototypes, props and much more, Smooth-Cast is easy to mix and pour, offering the convenience of a one-to-one mix ratio by volume. Try adding different colors and fillers to achieve an infinite variety of unique effects!
Smooth-Cast 300 is an ultra-low viscosity casting resin that quickly cures to a solid, durable, bright white plastic which is virtually bubble free. Shore harness is 70D. Applications include small to medium size sculptures, prototype models, cold cast bronze, special effect props, decorative jewelry, and more. Pot life is 3 minutes. Cure time is 10 minutes. Once fully cured, the casting are paintable.
Use a release agent to facilitate de-molding.
