Internally and externally sized for absorption and durability, the paper in Shizen Watercolor Journals is available with a hot press (smooth) or cold press (rough) surface. The wirebound journals hold 24 sheets of acid-free, 140 lb. (300 gsm) white paper.Shizen papers are handmade in India from 100% recycled cotton derived from t-shirt factories. The water used in making this paper is purified and then recycled after use. The paper is dried naturally with sunlight.
