Sennelier La Carte Pastel Paper was the very first product developed especially for pastel painting. La Carte Pastel Paper has a 200 lb. stiff weight similar to Bristol. It cannot be easily folded, creased or punctured, unlike other pastel papers. La Carte Pastel Paper has a neutral pH, slightly abrasive vegetable fiber coating that actually reacts with soft and oil pastels to provide enhanced adhesion and thus, reducing the need to heavily fix artwork.
