Each archival formula is custom-engineered for specific drawing mediums—including graphite, charcoal, oil pastel, and soft pastel—to permanently prevent smudging, fading, and dust damage without altering colors.
Sennelier d’Artigny Oil Pastel Fixative: This transparent, vinyl resin and alcohol-based spray creates a clear, glossy film. It permanently protects oil pastels and wax crayons against dust, friction, and smearing.
Sennelier Latour Soft Pastel Fixative: Formulated with an ultra-light resin and alcohol base, this archival fixative secures loose soft pastel particles to the paper support without shifting or darkening delicate pigment hues.
Sennelier Delacroix Pencil & Charcoal Fixative: Specially engineered for graphite, charcoal, and pencil drawings, this synthetic resin fixative offers strong, smudge-proof protection. Due to its high resin density, it should not be used on soft pastels.
