Ox Gall Liquid – Schmincke Watercolor Medium.
Ox Gall is a natural wetting agent for degreasing of undercoats before painting with watercolors or gouache. When used sparingly it is suitable as a leveling agent for watercolors. Dissolved Oxgall tends to flocculate with long storage but has no influence on the application.
