Schmincke Horadam Naturals Watercolor – Green Slate, 15ml Tube
Green Slate is a a cool, semi-translucent light grey, made from genuine ground slate. Its greenish color comes from minerals like epidote acinolite.
The natural pigments are sometimes slightly coarser in texture, which – unlike gouache – results in a rougher, usually slightly granular surface effect. The colors aren’t stiff but don’t flow as easily as traditional watercolor.
