Schmincke Horadam Naturals Watercolor – Caucasus Earth, 15ml Tube
Caucasus Earth is a delicate, cool olive green with good lightfastness and semi-opaque characteristics. The color is made from a green pigment obtained in the Caucasus region.
The natural pigments are sometimes slightly coarser in texture, which – unlike gouache – results in a rougher, usually slightly granular surface effect. The colors aren’t stiff but don’t flow as easily as traditional watercolor.
