RGM’s zinc engraving plates and stainless steel drypoint tools are perfect for etching and intaglio printmaking techniques. The 1.5 mm needle tool and the 2 mm chisel can be used to scratch incredible details into metal. Each lightweight, tempered steel tool is mounted on a straight beechwood handle. Once printed, the drypoint lines have a soft, velvety quality.
RGM Drypoint Tools are also great for inscribing greenware and leather-hard clay.
RGM plates are excellent for etching, drypoint, engraving, aquatint, and mezzotint.
