Oil Paint In A Portable Drawing Stick
Break free from the easel with R&F Drawing Oils™, the portable way to paint anywhere inspiration strikes. Each drawing stick is loaded with pure pigment and bound in a low-oil, wax-rich formula for firm control and expressive mark-making. Unlike pastels or crayons, these colors fully dry and do not require fixative. That means you can sketch, layer, and blend without worrying about your work being smudged or losing its vibrancy.
Just like Pigment Sticks®, R&F Drawing Oils™can be thinned with traditional solvents to create painterly washes of color. R&F Drawing Oils™ are harder than Pigment Sticks® and will respond uniquely to different surfaces. A smooth surface will yield a fast, gliding experience, while a rougher surface will show more texture. We recommend priming your substrate with gesso for archival stability.
