Da Vinci Quinacridone Red is one of the few fully transparent reds available to artists, and this stable pigment is prized for its ability to not only work as a primary red in a palette but also its ease when mixing clean, vibrant secondary colors like violet and orange.
When combined with other highly transparent, staining colors, Quinacridone Red’s medium to high tinting strength can hold its own and will create colors that are as brilliant and airy as sunlight. But to really see how Quinacridone Red is a master at mixing gorgeous colors, try it with fun granulators like French Ultramarine or Cobalt Turquoise and prepare to be wowed!
