The sturdy, reusable palette box is coated in easy-to-clean enamel and contains 24 empty half pans. Simply fill the pans with watercolors of your choice, let them dry, and re-wet with water to paint. New York Central half pans snap snugly into the pan rails and can be rearranged.

These particular swatch cards fit inside the lid of the included Watercolor Palette Box.Each swatch rectangle has a bold black line for testing transparency or separating half-tones. You’ll find a convenient space to write the color’s name by the swatch. The 100% cotton paper is sized to accept watercolor, gouache, colored pencil, pastel, oil pastel, and more.
