__Metallic Colors Note__ – Do not use a topcoat as it will dull the finish and destroy the shiny look of the metallic colors. Glossy topcoats will also change the appearance the metallic colors have right out of the can. Metallic colors also shouldn’t be applied to surfaces that will be touched often—the pigments sit on top of the paint and will wear and come off with repeated contact.
