Liquitex Gels & Pastes add strength, dimension, and staying power to your acrylics. All twelve specialized formulas let you shape weight, sheen, and surface character without sacrificing color or archival quality. Extend volume, build bold textures, sculpt forms, or alter sheen. Each gel or paste transforms your paint, making it ready to take on whatever surface or technique you explore next.

Flexible Modeling Paste – Matte, opaque preparation of marble dust and polymer emulsion. Use on a flexible surface for heavy textures and 3D forms.

Gloss Gel – This heavy body gloss medium and extender makes acrylic colors more transparent.

Heavy Gel (Gloss) – Gives acrylic colors a high degree of drag and density. Great for impasto techniques and glazes.

Light Modeling Paste – Putty-like compound that can be shaped while wet or carved when dry. Will not crack or chip. Non-toxic.

Matte Gel – Reduces gloss of acrylic colors. Also used as a matte collage adhesive.

Super Heavy Gel (Gloss) – Add to acrylic colors to form a sculptural, high-peak consistency. Dries clear with very low shrinkage. Great for collage and mixed media.

Super Heavy Gel (Matte) – A super thick gel that retains high peaks and crisp brush and knife strokes with little shrinkage.

Modeling Paste – Putty-like compound that can be shaped while wet and carved when dry

Slow-Dri Blending Gel – This fluid medium will increase the open working time of your acrylics by up to 40%. Dries clear to a flexible, non-yellowing and water-resistant film that will not change the viscosity of your color.

Ultra Matte Gel – Use to extend paint up to double amounts without changing color. Dries to a matte finish while maintaining color opacity. AP non-toxic.

Satin Gel Medium – Made of a 100% acrylic polymer emulsion and creates a durable, flexible film resistant to abrasion once dry. When added to acrylic paint, the satin gel increases texture and extends volume with a satin finish. You can also use the gel medium as a strong adhesive.

Silkscreen Medium – Transform acrylic paint into slow-drying silkscreen ink. The medium changes the thickness of water-based acrylic paints by increasing fluidity so you can use them for silkscreening and mono-printing. This acrylic medium increases paint volume and drying time but doesn’t affect paint color or opacity. Extended drying time lets you position ink to create the exact printed fabric designs you want.
