The deep lower basin is separated into two sections and holds over three cups of water. The larger section has graduated ridges along the bottom for beating paint out of brushes. The smaller section of the basin has an angled interior wall where you can balance brushes in clean water. Around the outer edge of the washer are holes of graduated sizes, perfect for storing brushes to dry. There are ten oval wells and five slanted wells give you plenty of room for paint storage, and the snap-on rubber lid can also be used as an extra mixing area.
