Jacquard Acid Dye – Fluorescent Red, .5 oz -Is ideal for dyeing natural and artificial protein fibers such as wool, alpaca, silk, and nylon. Acid dyes use citricacid and hot water to fix color permanently which makes them perfect for yarn and garment dyeing (immersion method) or stamping and screen printing applications (steam set). You can mix the concentrated dye powders to create practically any color in the spectrum! Immersion-dyed fibers are exceptionally brilliant and won’t bleed or fade with washing. Acid dyes are forgiving and responsive to different techniques and methods. The more you experiment, the more you will discover!
