Grumbacher Max Oil Painting Mediums are an alkyd-based, semi-gel painting medium for use with MAX Oil Colors and mixtures of MAX with conventional oils.Produces brilliant, lustrous, transparent colors and glazes. MAX Quick Dry becomes more fluid the more it is stirred or shaken. Miscible with water and enhances water miscibility and paint flow in MAX colors and mixtures of MAX with conventional oils. Holds precise lines and strokes during wet-in-wet techniques without feathering or bleeding. Non-yellowing.Compatible with conventional oil painting materials. Will not convert conventional oils into water miscible oil paint. For best results, Grumbacher recommends that you add an equal amount of water as the MAX Quick Dry Medium when mixing with paint. Not recommended for use with non-Grumbacher water miscible painting materials.
