Description

We put this Gilding Sampler Set together so beginning illuminators can try a little bit of every gilding medium we offer! Includes the following:

Ormoline Gilding Medium – This acrylic-based gold size is fluid enough for use with nibs, and great for gilding onto paper or parchment.
Miniatum Yellow – Great for writing with a dip pen then applying gold. Arrives in the right consistency for pointed and broad edge pen work and produces a raised appearance.
Miniatum Ink (Pink) – Great for writing with a dip pen then applying gold. Arrives in the right consistency for pointed and broad edge pen work but does not give as much of a raised look as yellow miniatum.
Instacoll Gold – Create your design with Instacoll, let it dry for about 15 minutes, and apply your gold or silver leaf. The yellow color helps hide small imperfections in the gold leaf.

One 6mL glass vial of each, set in a rectangular wooden block to prevent spills.
