The pure kolinsky red sable hairs have a snappy point and springy elasticity that delivers wonderfully fluid strokes, from thick to thin and back again. They’re encased in a transparent plastic quill and expertly wrapped with copper wire to create tiny channels between the hairs that hold an impressive amount of liquid and provide smooth transfer to the page.
Made in Germany using non-toxic materials, each features a beautifully tapered handle made from sustainably sourced wood. The handles are lacquered using a special tumble-finishing process that uses minimal resources to create a glossy finish.
