Accurately reflecting the hues of nature – Permanent and lightfast, the Bonjour Set is designed to accurately reflect the blue hues of nature, making them ideal for plein aire painting. The smooth and creamy texture lends itself perfectly to alla prima painting, yet the high pigment concentration also allows paint to be thinned down to the most subtle and luminous glazes. The main binding ingredient is poppy oil (no tendency to yellow over time) which provides a rich creaminess to the paint. (as with any Poppy Oil based paint, remember to follow the fat over lean method of painting)
