By crafting paints with single pigments, Stoneground empowers artists to fully control color mixing and prevent muddiness in their work, allowing for clear, expressive results across a wide spectrum of effects.

Stoneground’s paint-making process reconnects artists with a centuries-old approach to materials. Each pan of paint is meticulously prepared by hand, with pigment and binder blended using a glass muller on a stone slab over several weeks to ensure rich, even color.
