Sennelier Artist Dry Pigment Binding Mediums available in Egg Tempera binding medium & Watercolor binding medium

Egg Tempera Binding Medium – Contains egg, gum arabic and vegetable oil. Provides a flexible consistency when mixed with with dry pigments. The paint film will be smooth, but will not be able to be reworked with water as with traditional egg tempera—but this allows you to build up layers easily. Thin with water.

Watercolor Binding Medium – Contains gum arabic, honey, water and a preservative. When mixed with dry pigments, it provides a smooth, water-soluble paste with a viscous consistency. Mix with 5-10% water to increase fluidity, while maintaining brilliancy and transparency. It may also be used to thin pre-mixed paints.
