About the Collection

Together We Dazzle is an annual art show and benefit curated by Christina Joy Littleton. Inspired by her long road to diagnosis, this annual art show aims to raise awareness and funds for the Ehlers-Danlos Society while celebrating our artistic community.

There is a phrase in the medical field: If you hear hoofbeats, think of a horse, not a zebra. It means to look for the more likely explanations before considering outliers. Since EDS is so difficult to diagnose, the symbol became the zebra. A group of zebras is called a dazzle, making “Together We Dazzle” the motto of the Ehlers-Danlos Society.

We host the annual art shows in Athens, Georgia and raise money for the society though raffle and artwork sales. All profits from the sale of artwork will be split between the Ehlers-Danlos Society and the respective artist.
