The Hunt 103 is a small, flexible, and delicate nib. As it has a tendency to catch on a more textured surface, it is recommended for use on smooth papers and to be handled with an extremely light and sensitive touch. However, this nib is resilient on downstrokes springing back into shape if moderate pressure is used. It has a similar feel to the Hunt 100 nib, except that it is larger, more flexible and less fragile than the 100. Suitable for writing at x-heights of 1/8″ or less.
