Enkaustikos Encaustic Luster Wax is a high-quality, white, synthetic, non-petroleum wax derived from coal. It will raise the melting point and increase the hardness and shine of your wax paint. Due to its melting point of 205°F, exercise care while melting this wax so as not to burn your paint. Enkaustikos recommends starting with a 5% addition of Luster Wax to your formula and increasing it for your unique purposes.
