American Goldfinch Amongst the Lilacs – JP3078

Description

Such a lovely splash of color, the goldfinch darting through the branches. We always love to see them arrive in the yard. Here again I’ve taken inspiration from the old Victorian post cards and given the bird a slightly more rounded, romantic look, and placed him amongst some softly painted lilacs.
