Holbein Duo Aqua Water Soluble Oils are created with an artist quality pigment dispersed in a water-soluble linseed oil. It will dry uniformly in as little as 24 hours. Waterbased metallic and pearl colors may be added to produce festive effects. Holbein developed DUO to provide artists with a paint that could be diluted and cleaned up with soap and water while still offering the same excellent pigment quality of their premium Holbein’s Artists’ Oil colors. Enjoy working with the high chromas and rich hues of this line, including “Elite” cadmiums and cobalts. Mix with acrylics, gouache, watercolors and traditional oils (up to 30%) for various creative effects. No harsh solvents needed so they are safer than traditional oils.

Note: Holbein’s “Luminous”colors should not be considered permanent.
