Made from traditional Japanese fibers such as kozo and gampi, these beautiful papers are suitable for ink work, printmaking, and drawing. Individual 17″ x 20-1/2″ sheets are acid-free, archival, and have four deckle edges.More than 300 years of washi papermaking expertise go into every sheet of Awagami Editioning Paper. Made from traditional Japanese fibers, as well as other non-tree fibers, these papers are suitable for a wide range of techniques. Made from 70% environmentally friendly bamboo (30% recycled), this sheet has a small ecological footprint. Bamboo Select is slightly heavier than other washi (170 gsm) with a lovely soft surface, making it ideal for intaglio, block printing, and letterpress.
