Want to create a more transparent color or slow the drying time of your screen printing inks? Speedball’s specially formulated Transparent Base and Retarder Base are perfect for altering acrylic and fabric screen printing inks. The Retarder Base helps slow the drying time of any acrylic-based screen printing ink, while the Transparent Base makes fabric inks more transparent. The Transparent Base should not make up more than 10 to 15% of the mixture to ensure permanence after heat setting the fabric.
