La Carte Pastel Paper, 19″ x 25″ in dark green by Sennelier, was developed especially for pastel painting. La Carte Pastel Paper has a 200lb stiff weight similar to Bristol. It cannot be easily folded, creased or punctured, unlike other pastel papers. La Carte Pastel has a neutral pH, slightly abrasive vegetable fiber coating that actually reacts with soft and oil pastels to provide enhanced adhesion and thus, reducing the need to heavily fix artwork.
